For years, the standard keyboard thickness was 3/4 inches thick at the front lip, and our Fat Wrist Pads work great with them. But keyboard technology is moving fast these days, and the major trend is towards super thin keyboards with a front lip of about 1/4 inch in height. We've taken notice and worked up a whole new line of Grifiti Slim Wrist Pads in 5 inch, 12 inch, and 17 inch lengths. We are experimenting with a variety of materials to make these instead of just defaulting to neoprene. While our Fat Wrist Pads are made with neoprene rubber with a nylon surface, we're trying something new here and so far it's been well received. We're using Poron, which is another closed cell rubber with a nice squishy feel. We've dumped the nylon surface in favor of a smooth, cool, slick skin surface on the rubber. This offers users a softer feel than the nylon and makes it even easier to clean.
