The GRIFITI BAND JOES Silicon Bands are the perfect solution for strapping things in today. Our Band Joes were an accidental development, born out of our frustration with the cheap elastic bands in our writing notebooks that stretch out and lose their effectiveness over time. Wrapping your book with a thin slice of underwear elastic just didn't feel elegant or cool, so we set out to find a better alternative.

We tried various options, from bungee cord (too fat) to rubber strips and twine (really clumsy), before stumbling upon some large red rubber bands at the hardware store that worked pretty well. However, the microphone color bands were a bit thin and dull, so we decided to create our own silicone bands, similar to the famous Livestrong wrist bands, but much bigger and more stretchy. With the ability to make any size, thickness, and color, we had our solution: the Big-Ass Bands.
